Letters B and V
The letters B and V are pronounced the same.
Unlike other languages, the letters B (be) and V (uve) in Spanish are pronounced the same.
You have to know the words to know which letter to use.
The exchange of both constitutes one of the most common spelling errors, even among Spanish speakers.
Letter H
In spanish the letter H is silent, it is not pronounced. But words do change their meaning if they have an h or not. Example: ola (wave) and hola (hello)
The sound of h changes when it is preceded by c (ch). In this case, it is not silent. It is pronounced as in English. Example: chocolate.
