Have you noticed how most of the titles printed on the spines of your English books are oriented the same way?
assuming your books are upright, you need to turn your head right to read them. unless of course, you don't need to turn your head at all because it is a transverse title.
well, to be able to read most spanish book titles on the spine, you need to turn your head left.
personally, i prefer the english standard since it is easier to read a title when the book lays flat on a surface!
